"As the World Burns" is inspired by musings on how we wake up to our current circumstances.  Do we see?  Are we afraid to look?  Does it make a difference?  

The answers arrive in the form of eyes, projecting "presence."

These eyes are created on reclaimed copper from a roofing project.  Earned over years of service, its scarring and patina contribute to each eye's unique "presence."

Works in, on and of plastic, seeking to illuminate the the magnitude of our plastic problem, uncover the truth about "recycling," and inspire people to demand our lawmakers take action to curtail the production of this toxic substance that only ever ends up in the ocean, a landfill, an incinerator and ultimately in us.
